By any measure, Melinda Maria—founder and chief creative officer of Melinda Maria Jewelry—is one of the most influential names in modern fashion jewelry. Known for her tasteful, versatile, and effortlessly glamorous designs, Melinda has built a brand that delivers a high-luxury look using premium simulated diamonds and synthetic gemstones that often appear far more precious than their price point suggests.
That balance of style and substance has propelled the privately owned company for over 20 years—and in February 2025, Melinda Maria Jewelry took an exciting new step forward with the opening of its first-ever retail boutique, located inside the brand’s Los Angeles headquarters.
The company’s La Brea Avenue headquarters is instantly recognizable, painted in the same signature lavender hue found on Melinda Maria jewelry pouches, boxes, and tissue paper. The boldly colored building brings a sense of joy and optimism to the neighborhood, reflecting both the brand’s creative spirit and its founder’s exuberant personality.
Inside, the space is warm and serene. Vintage Italian Murano glass lighting fixtures illuminate blonde wood furnishings, while sunlight pours through the space onto a striking violet marble table imported from Italy. Fresh floral arrangements—custom designed by Los Angeles floral studio The Hidden Garden using blooms flown in from Holland—add a vibrant finishing touch.
When we met Melinda, she wore her own designs effortlessly—earrings, layered necklaces, stacked rings, and bracelets styled with polish and restraint.
“I always wanted to be a jewelry designer,” she shared. “Styling jewelry is still one of my favorite things to do, along with designing.”
The new boutique is more than a store. As Melinda explains, it’s the Melinda Maria Social Club—a space designed to bring people together.
“While it’s a retail boutique, we really see it as a gathering place,” she said. “We’ll host in-person events, virtual happy hours, jewelry styling sessions, and community fundraisers. I’m especially excited to connect directly with customers through live Q&As and hands-on experiences.”
The boutique also serves as an event space and social hub for the brand’s growing community, reinforcing Melinda Maria Jewelry’s philosophy of connection over transactions.
The interior was conceptualized by stylist and designer Estee Stanley, known for creating homes for A-list clients. Lavender-toned velvet displays shimmer with signature Melinda Maria pieces, designed to layer beautifully so customers can create their own combinations.
Giving back is woven deeply into the Melinda Maria brand. Rather than simply donating, the team actively participates in hands-on service projects throughout Los Angeles that benefit underserved communities.
One organization especially close to the brand’s heart is A Sense of Home, a nonprofit that supports young adults aging out of foster care by furnishing their first apartments with essentials like furniture, bedding, kitchenware, and artwork.
Melinda believes that time is one of the most valuable resources a company can offer. Whether it’s mentoring, volunteering, or creating experiences that bring people together, what we do now helps shape a better future.
Melinda Maria Jewelry has long been a favorite among celebrities and stylists. Yet despite its red-carpet presence, the brand remains grounded in accessibility—offering statement-making pieces at approachable prices.
With the launch of the Melinda Maria Social Club, the brand invites customers not just to shop, but to connect, celebrate, and belong.
